Funerals


There are many services the church can provide a family during this time of mourning. Our pastor is available to provide Christian services at the location a family desires: Church, Funeral Home, Cemetery, or Home.


Our pastor will do all he can to be available for your funeral. Please contact the pastor by calling the church office at 516-694-3424. It is important to contact the pastor before making arrangements since there are times that he may not be available.

 

Our pastor can design a funeral service for you. If you desire, there are many parts of the service the family can participate in creating.

  • Selection of scriptures

  • Sharing of family or friends

  • Selection of hymns

 

It is helpful if the family can jot down a few comments about their loved one to help the pastor have a better understanding of him/her. Services can conclude at a funeral home, the church, at the departure of the hearse from the church, at the cemetery chapel, or at the grave-site at the discretion of the family and funeral home.
