BIBLE CLASSES: Something for everyone!  Increase your spiritual capital by attending one (or all) of these classes: Wednesday 10:30am Bible Class is currently meeting; the Wednesday evening Bible Study will begin on September 12th at 7:30pm; the Saturday 8:00am Lectionary Bible Study will be led by Robert Carle, Professor of Theology.

 

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL will run September 2nd thru November 25th.  It will begin at 11:15am and end at 12:15pm, and be based on the weekly lectionary scripture texts from which Pastor Joseph writes his sermons.  All those interested in biblical conversation and deep theology are invited to attend.

 
 

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL on September 30th. Pastor will be officiating his son’s wedding in Atlanta.

 

MISSION SUNDAYS:  September 23rd & 30th.  Visit the display tables in the South Transept for information on the mission work that is ongoing at our church.  Baked goods/chocolates will be available for purchase.  Donations will be added to the “Change the World” globe.

 

COLUMBUS DAY FAIR: Saturday, October 6th. Volunteers are needed.  This is a church fundraiser. Please contact Shanna Wurth, Jen Lee or Sue Jones if you can help out that day for an hour or two or the Friday evening before from 5 to 6 pm. Thank you!

 

 

 

NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE: will meet Tuesday, October 9th, 7:30pm.

 

 

CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING: Sunday, October 21st after worship, for approval of Charge Conference documents. Charge Conference is scheduled for Saturday, October 27th, 3:00pm in Hempstead.
